May 2018 Philosophy Think & Drink
Our May Think & Drink was lovely. In keeping with our ridiculous issues with taking pictures during our think & drink sessions (we have found it somewhat uncomfortable to sneak a pic and/or ask people to say cheese during “deep thoughts”), we have opted out of pics for this month. We have, however, captured the gist of our discussion here. Beginning with a riveting discussion about llama poop (thanks Thomas & Marie!)…seven questions — all worthy of pondering — were posed. Check out what we landed upon and some of the philosophical things involved here!
March 2018 Philosophy Think & Drink (squared)
Our March Think & Drink (squared) was lovely. We enjoyed a lively discussion about a topic near and dear to our hearts — empathy. Specifically: the value, role and evolution of empathy and its relationship to “Good & Evil” and (a closely related area of exploration) the neuroscience of free-will. Click here to view what articles we read to prepare for our philosophical discussion and some other resources!

After intro’s and several great questions being posed –e.g., What/where is the line drawn relative to when something is considered “disposable” and where does intrinsic value come into play in this equation?; What is…
December 2017 Philosophy Think & Drink
Our December Think & Drink was great fun! Some new faces joined our gathering and we enjoyed wonderful conversation about our voted upon (three-part) query of the day concerning revolution. Two favorite characterizations that came up in the course of conversation — “revolution is like dropping a stick of dynamite in an outhouse” and “revolution is carbonated evolution”! Check out more about what we discussed…and what Aristotle had to say about the matter.
