2019 Merlin Mailer Newsletter — A Year in Review

Wow….what a turn-out in the wine cave this month! Our group of 17 (?!) had a great time exploring ideas together and talking shop!! The topic de noir: religion. Check out what sorts of things we explored here!

Merlin Community Scholar Fellow Makes 4 Montana Papers with His Article on Elk Shoulder Seasons

Congratulations to 2019 Merlin Community Scholar Fellow, Thomas Baumeister, for making the paper once again with his research and writing on the practical and moral challenges associated with elk shoulder seasons. His article was picked up by four papers across Montana: Helena Independent Record, Bozeman Daily Chronicle, the Missoulian, and Butte Standard.

December 2019 Philosophy Read-In Group: The Bhagavad Gītā

We had a great time on our first Philosophy Read-In bi-monthly gatherings. Facilitated by David Nowakowski, we started off this new community activity with two of the best-known Greek philosophers: Plato and Socrates. Access resources here!
