Whew……what can we say? It’s been a tough year for everyone. Not much elaboration is needed. We have all experienced it…each in our own way.
As 2021 comes to an end, we are hopeful. Why? Because, amidst this year’s challenges, we have witnessed the power and beauty of community, of people coming together.
We are honored and grateful for the support our fellow community members, near & far, have shown us. In 2021, despite many of the hurdles, we continued to offer free programs to the community, welcomed a new member to our team, selected our first undergraduate student scholar fellow, were selected by the American Philosophical Association for a special interview series on Philosophy as a Way of Life, completed a massive published writing project (highlighting critical, creative thinking & the Helena community), contributed a chapter to a book series on Pop Culture & Philosophy, held our inaugural Food for Thought Fundraiser event (featuring the Montana Logging & Ballet Co.), and designed an exciting & innovative “Community Hubs” project for Helena & the Mountain West (which we’ll launch once we get the funding).
You can read more about all of this by clicking on the button below. You can also find out what kinds of things we have in store for you in 2022. We have been working diligently and are delighted with what’s on the radar!
WE LOVE PHILOSOPHY. WE LOVE THE WORK THAT WE DO. AND…WE COULDN’T DO IT WITHOUT YOU.
We hope you enjoy our Merlin Mailer Year-in-Review newsletter….and thank you so much for helping to support critical, creative thinking in our community.
